Toolsie Persaud Limited (TPL) is a privately owned company, registered in Guyana under the Companies Act. It is involved in the timber industry, quarrying, hardware supplies and thermoplastics. The company has two Sawmilling Complexes; one located at Anarika, 45 kilometres upstream of the town of Bartica, on the right bank of the Essequibo River and the other at its headquarters in Georgetown. These sawmills produce over six million board feet of lumber annually, supplied from two timber concessions with a total acreage of approximately 350,000 hectares (865,000 acres). It is the largest producer and supplier of crushed stone, boulders, gabions and other quarry products for road building, sea defence and other major construction projects in Guyana.
